Mommy needs a nap!

Hello out there in blog land! Sorry it has been yet ANOTHER week with no post. I promise to do better real soon... (like in 9 school days, but who is counting)! This week has flown by, but here is our recap...
I had my first REAL mothers day! Last year I was pregnant with Sir Isaac and some gave me cards and Jeffie gave me a mani and a pedi, but this year, Isaac was here and it was GLORIOUS! The night before was Kassy, Kent, and Christa's graduation, so because we were so darn tired, we didn't get up for mass and instead had mass for the shut ins... (aka. watching church on TV in our pajamas) Then it was breakfast and hanging out with my mom and brother and sister and sister in law...after hanging out with my side of the fam, we went over to spend time with Jeff's mom and dad and sister and brother and brother... I think you get the idea.... we had great food and a fun time! Unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries, so this is one of the only pictures of the day... and it's from my handy MAC computer, but you get the idea...
Of course on Monday everyone was beat, but to work we went! On Tuesday, Kassy sang the National Anthem at an ISU vs. Norte Dame game held at Silver Cross Stadium! It was Isaac's first taste of baseball, and he really seemed to like it... well tolerate it at least. There wasn't a whole lot of room for the lil booger to roam, and he wants to be on the move... but it was a beautiful night and we had a wonderful time. We will be going to Silver Cross field MANY more times this year for SURE.
Well, that's about it for now. Isaac is at Grandma and Grandpap Ross' house now, and I have some "real" things to do before he gets home, like laundry and cook and bathe, and if I am lucky, a real quick nap!

YAY for your first Mother's Day!! Isaac is getting to be such a big boy! What a cutie :-) Hope you were able to take your nap!
